Call for a Public Inquiry following Cass Review
Call for a Public Inquiry following Cass Review

Following the publication of the Independent Review of Gender Identity Services for Children and Young People (commonly known as the Cass Review) we are calling for a Public Inquiry into current systemic child safeguarding failures in the whole of the UK. We hope our supporters will join our call.

The Cass Review has exposed the full extent of the harms that have been done to children by allowing an ideology to override safeguarding. The review is welcome but it must be the beginning of accountability, not the end.

A Public Inquiry is now needed to examine how public bodies and charities, which should have safeguarding at the forefront of their policies, have been subject to regulatory capture, resulting in whistle-blowers having nowhere to turn.  We include the Department for Education, the NHS, Academia, professional associations dealing with children, teaching unions, OFSTED, the office of the Childrens’ Commissioner, the NSPCC, Stonewall, and many more.

Please write to your MP to support our call. Supporters are welcome to use our template letter.
