Safe Schools Alliance UK spokesperson Tanya Carter was interviewed today by Nana Akua for the Parenting Show on BBC Three Counties Radio in a discussion about Stonewall’s LGBT guidance for primary schools. Listen here from 22 mins.

Carter welcomed age appropriate information about different families but cautioned against some Stonewall recommended resources.

She explained that the Stonewall promoted book ‘10,000 Dresses’ gives the message to children that if a boy puts on a dress he is a girl. As Carter points out, this is the opposite to early years best practice that all toys and all dressing up are for all children.

Please continue to ask your parliamentary candidates our safeguarding questions, particularly No.4 and No.5 about teaching of gender ideology in schools.
