The Belfast News Letter looks at similarities between the transgender guidelines for schools issued in Northern Ireland last year by the Education Authority, and the trans toolkit issued by Oxfordshire County Council which is facing potential legal challenge.
Our spokeswoman Tracy Shaw told the News Letter that whilst Safe Schools Alliance is based in England, “we’d really hope to see these guidelines [in Northern Ireland] being challenged. We think they need to be challenged and we’d hope there’ll be groups in NI doing so.”
